Terms and Conditions

BOOKINGS

A deposit payment is required to confirm your place in each workshop or trip. Final payment is due 60 days prior to the workshop or trip start date. All workshops and trips require a minimum number of participants to proceed.

PAYMENTS

Your booking is confirmed when your deposit is paid. Details for balance payments will be provided to participants via email approximately 90 days prior to the workshop or trip start date (30 days before the balance payment is due). If we do not receive a balance payment and are unable to contact you via email within 14 days after the balance payment due date, we will assume you are no longer participating in the workshop or trip, and your place in the workshop or trip will be forfeited.

CANCELLATIONS POLICY

Should you need to cancel, please notify us in writing via email. Payments will be refunded as follows:

  1. Deposits are non-refundable.

  2. Cancellation less than 60 days prior to the trip start date – we will endeavour to fill your place and refund your payment. However if we are unable to fill your place, the full payment will be forfeited.

We reserve the right to cancel a trip for any reason (such as failure to reach minimum participant numbers). Except for force majeure, we will not cancel a trip less than 60 days before the trip start date.

Please note some trips have specific terms & conditions, including cancellations policies. Please ensure you read the specific terms & conditions and cancellation policy relating to your trip.

PASSPORTS AND VISAS

All travellers must be in possession of a valid passport and visa (if applicable). Please check with your local in country authority whether you require a visa.

PRICES

Prices quoted in our workshop and trip information are based on exchange rates, cost of services and applicable taxes at the time of publication. Prices may be subject to change, in the event of significant currency fluctuations or the introduction of new taxes, up until final payment is received.

In the event of a price increase, whether because of a currency fluctuation or increase in taxes, we will advise you and you have the option of accepting the amended prices, inclusions and booking conditions or withdrawing from the workshop or trip and receiving a full refund of all monies paid. Once final payment is received, all prices will be guaranteed and no surcharges will apply.

TRAVEL INSURANCE

All participants are required to have travel insurance coverage for personal injury, medical treatment, trip interruption, trip cancellation and evacuation. Participants may elect to add coverage for theft, damage or loss of personal items, but this is optional and not required by The Tour Studio.

ITINERARIES

We reserve the right to make minor changes to the published itinerary as necessary if required.

SHARED ROOM BOOKINGS (applies to 2025 trips and onwards)

We will endeavour to pair single travellers who book shared rooms wherever possible. If there is no other single traveller to share your room with, you will have the option to upgrade your booking to an individual room. We will advise whether a shared room is available for you as a single traveller at least 60 days prior to the trip start date.
